Powerlyte went through a big shift in 2007 with a lot of new products. To push the shift in products, we also worked on a few new logo designs. I was given a piece of vector art the owner found on a stock photo site. Using that, I was to build a new crest style logo. I started in illustrator cleaning up the graphic some and then finished it off in photoshop.

Powerlyte started to make a new loader shell to compete with a current product called Suicide Shells. The owner at Powerlyte came up with the name Cranium and had an idea to show a brain inside like lifting off the top of a skull. With that description, I set to work on coming up with a Logo.

You will see a lot of the graphic design work here as part of what I did for Powerlyte as I worked there managing all of the digital assets from product images, to web design, packaging and more. These images are part of some advertising done on the current product offerings at the time. The first one, is a 5×7 card designed to be printed on a full sheet and then cut, to product 4 separate product cards per sheet. The backs of the cards simply displayed the logo. The second one takes a similar design approach, crossing over some visual elements to create a full page magazine ad.
